Agilent Expands its Solid Phase
Extraction Products
Agilent Technologies has announced
the availability of Agilent
SampliQ SPE, a solid phase
extraction (SPE) product line for
the fast and cost-effective
purification of extracts that
improves the accuracy and
reproducibility of analytical
results. Agilent’s SampliQ SPE
product line replaces and expands
upon the previous AccuBONDII SPE
product line. A new line of
polymer SPE products complement
the silica and other sorbents such
as carbon and Florisil PR. Formats
ranging from the most popular
cartridge sizes to 96-well plates
are available to meet every solid
phase extraction requirement.
“More and more of our customers
want an end-to-end workflow
solution, and look to Agilent to
help them achieve the very highest
quality result at every step of
their analysis,” said Ron Majors,
senior scientist at Agilent. “The
new SampliQ product line is one
way we are responding to our
customers’ needs while reflecting
our commitment to serving the
solid phase extraction market.”
All Agilent SampliQ SPE products
are manufactured under stringent
quality control standards in
Agilent’s Delaware manufacturing
facilities. Industry leading
quality control processes ensure
consistent chemical composition,
controlled particle size and
lot-to-lot sorbent uniformity for
superior flow-through and
performance. Solid phase
extraction is a cornerstone
technique in the analytical
workflow of complex samples
because it reduces the number and
amount of potential interferences
that can jeopardize a separation,
detection and quantification.
Researchers in the food safety,
pharmaceutical, environmental and
forensic industries use solid
phase extractions. The growing
importance of food safety,
particularly in regions such as
Asia-Pacific, presents a growing
need for effective solid phase
extraction to help with food
safety analyses (www.agilent.com).
